Nivea Creme is a rich water-in-oil moisturising cream made to essentially the same formula since 1911. It is genuinely all-purpose: dry and cracked hands, rough elbows and heels, chapped lips, windburn, sunburn aftercare, and the dryness caused by repeated hand washing. The heavy texture forms a barrier that holds moisture in, which is why it outperforms lighter lotions on hands exposed to water, wind, salt, detergents or manual work. The 50ml tin is compact, unbreakable and cannot leak, which is a real advantage over pump bottles in a packed bag.
