The 574 is New Balance’s best-known model and has been in production largely unchanged for decades, which is unusual in a category driven by novelty. It uses an ENCAP midsole, a polyurethane rim around an EVA core, giving more support and durability than EVA alone. Suede and mesh upper. Positioned as an everyday shoe rather than a running one despite its running heritage. Available in sizes 9, 9.5, 10, 11 and 11.5.
