A 24-inch Full HD monitor on an IPS panel, which is the panel type worth insisting on for accurate colour and viewing angles that hold up when you are not sitting dead centre. The 100Hz refresh rate is a step above the standard 60Hz, making cursor movement and scrolling noticeably smoother without paying gaming-monitor prices. A blue-light filter and flicker-free backlight reduce eye strain over long sessions, which matters more than raw specification if you work at a screen all day. Twenty-four inches suits a standard desk without dominating it.
