Scalp Shield limits how much heat reaches the scalp itself, which matters for anyone who finds hot styling uncomfortable rather than merely damaging to hair. Like the FlexStyle it dries and styles in a single pass using airflow rather than plate heat, and converts between dryer and styler. The wider attachment range makes it more versatile across hair types and lengths, at a higher price.
