A significant step up from the entry-level IdeaPad Slim 3. The Ryzen 7 7735HS is a full-power eight-core processor rather than a low-power mobile chip, and 16GB of RAM is the point at which heavy browser use, spreadsheets and light photo or video editing stop being constrained by memory. The 15.3-inch screen and 512GB SSD complete a machine that should stay comfortable for several years rather than feeling slow within one. Worth the difference over the Ryzen 3 model for anyone who works on their laptop daily.
