A soundbar with a separate wireless subwoofer, which is the configuration that makes the biggest audible difference over a television’s built-in speakers. Flat panel televisions have almost no internal cabinet volume, so bass and dialogue clarity both suffer badly; a bar plus subwoofer fixes both. Three speakers across the bar handle left, right and centre channels, with Bass Boost for low-end emphasis. Connects to the television over HDMI or optical.
